Re: Mask rules and elections

Just don't wear the masks - don't comply. Full stop. If challenged, you can claim exemption on medical grounds or another 'reasonable excuse' and not have to give any more details. I got on the bus yesterday with a friend the same age (late 60s) without any challenge. At the next stop, three youngst...

Re: Face masks

You could always pose the the question to mask wearers that, if they think their masks are effective, why should you wear one to protect them? The sheep accept, without question, what they are told by chosen sources. Unless you can stimulate questions, discussion may be fruitless. One question that ...

Re: DeSantis v Google-Youtube

It is the same link as the OP: https://youtu.be/D5hQB2dAw84 Also the mobile site: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D5hQB2dAw84&feature=youtu.be Nope. This is the virtual roundtable Gov De Santis convened to discuss the "censorship" of the earlier roundtable which looks like it remains banned. Sorry, I...

Re: DeSantis v Google-Youtube

It is not actually banned on YouTube - yet. I have just watched again at 12:30 on 16th April. I did add to the 'likes' so that could contribute to it being banned. It certainly was banned. I got the "removed" notice and Gov De Santis made a statement attacking Google-YouTube for "censorship". If it...

Re: Boycott hospitality venues requiring masks or vaccine passes

Exactly right Splatt! I would suggest, though, that you try and shop local as much as you can rather than going online. No. Because "local" has one way systems, queues outside and makes me wear a mask. I'm doing as much as humanly possible to not contribute a penny to any shop, local or otherwise t...

'Vaccination' rate

The progress of the 'vaccination' programme is shown here, up to today's date:
vaccination-rate-20210415.jpg
vaccination-rate-20210415.jpg (51.19 KiB) Viewed 64 times
59.9% have had the first dose. 15.5% have had the second dose.
28.6% of under 50s have had the first dose.

It may be early to say, but both doses seem to be rolling off.

Re: People volunteering for tests

The quoted 0.3% is horrendous, 18% means they simply dont work. At all. Of no use what-so-ever as a diagnostic. Yes, quite right. But there is often unscrupulous behaviour afoot. Do we believe in 'leaked' emails? To the Telegraph? What if it were deliberately leaked? The government would have demon...

Re: Sudden Reduction in Excess Deaths

The chart I posted recently showing the six week surge in old people in care homes once vaccination started in Ireland is the smoking gun regarding causality. These facilities had been on strict lock-down for many months. There are been no change in access rules in the previous four / six week whil...
