Re: Inhaled interferon treatment - Phase 3 trial now funded

Given the recent fearful publicity about the scariant variants (which admittedly does seem to have temporarily abated in the last couple of days), there is a significant point to raise again about this Interferon Beta treatment : It is virus agnostic and is expected to be effective on any viral resp...

Our Mike Yeadon IS the real Mike Yeadon

Mike gave an inspirational speech at the Canterbury rally this afternoon.

He had a long queue of people waiting to talk with him for the next two hours but I managed to shake his hand and confirm that he posts in his real name on LS.

We need other eminent people to be brave enough to join the cause.

Re: OK, so what might happen next?

Not shocked at all, as you probably realised! Would have been shocked 6 months ago if I knew we would be here today. I am coming across a few more out and out sceptics and others who will only follow the restrictions according to their own judgement. However, most of both those groups have still bee...

Re: OK, so what might happen next?

Time for another revisit of the 3 options posted 6 months ago with some updated thoughts 1. At some point the Government decides that there is sufficient evidence that the approach has been successful and there is an overall easing of restrictions. UPDATE: This is the impression that they are trying...

Bump

Today's announcement of the antiviral task force is interesting.

They spoke about tablets, but this treatment uses a nebuliser.

Re: LOOK HIM IN THE EYES ADVERT

Please see below an extract of the ruling from the Independent Reviewer, Sir Hayden Phillips. He has taken my complaint seriously and written sympathetically. Have also copied part of my reply to him. Although I have reached the end of the road with my complaint, I hope it has raised the profile of ...

Wokeism - Loathe it or ignore it, you can't like it

(Respect to Douglas Adams for the subject name) Wokeism seems to be playing an increasing part in this whole appalling saga. The question is - how can this be effectively challenged? More to the point, who should be brought together to challenge it. The popularity of wokeist activity is not surprisi...

Re: LOOK HIM IN THE EYES ADVERT

The letter informing me of the ASA Council decision provided details how to take things further: As your complaint was decided by Council, if you wish to contest the decision, or feel that the point you raised was not adequately covered, you may wish to contact the Independent Reviewer of ASA ruling...

Re: Is there still a comments section on the new Daily Update

Was given this tip: On your browser select Find in Page (on … menu) and search for today’s. Then repeat but search for discussion. * I had looked for it earlier but missed it. I suggest it could do with a prominent link at the top of the home page. Perhaps there should be a separate Today’s Comments...
