Re: smiles-matter.org

This is not constructive criticism.

Love it!

Reminiscent of Glasgow's Miles better and just as catchy.

Re: something that might work

I was a bit flippant with my earlier comment so am coming back with a bit more detail. In order for the virus to get inside our cells and create real problems it needs a receptor on the outside and the mechanism to get reproduced on the inside of the cell. The receptor being used is something called...

Re: something that might work

Chronic stress weakens the immune system. A year of fear backed up by SAGE psychologists advising in the art of fearmongering is making the situation worse, not better.

Then add in the chronic lifestyle related illnesses.

We are certainly doomed Mr Mainwaring!

Re: Anti-Vaxxers

I'm not anti vaccine. They make a lot of sense as long as they save more people from the disease than they kill off in use. The measles vaccine seems for example - children do die from measles (admittedly not a huge number) and the vaccine is comparatively safe. The problem with this particular vacc...

Re: Young, suicidal and in lockdown: A diary

There's a huge amount of really good advice in these comments and I didn't think that I could add anything to help but maybe I can. I was in a desperate position when I was 22, feeling that there was no point. One night I was lying in bed in tears when I got a picture in my head of my dead grandmoth...

Re: General chat - anyone interested?

That's interesting - that it isn't a virus at all. I'm batting off the theory that it may have escaped from a lab (but we will never know), that it is possibly a genetic upgrade (as people with chronic disease are most likely to sucumb) and that we should all be swearing off the processed foods whil...
