Re: The Covid panic as a feedback loop

I cannot see this ending. Don't panic! It's an interesting but overly elaborate theory, it is just as economical to describe it as a political quagmire. And you can relax about it. Endless loops, just like perpetual motion, are impossible, due to ever increasing entropy. In this case the entropy in...

What difference has vaccine made?

I'll try to show what difference vaccine has made. John Campbell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJrfPFTk3pU claims it has lessened the link between cases and severe illness. To back his belief, he had shown this graph: Screenshot 2021-06-12 at 15.19.27.png The first row show the number of "cases" o...

You've answered my question in a roundabout way. You do you agree with my premise There are no pure lockdown sceptics left here, as they have ...

Re: The Covid panic as a feedback loop

I find it hard to see how this can end. It will only end when precious, panicky, paranoid people realise they are unimportant, once they are vaccinated. Once vaccinated, they cannot so freely transmit coronavirus. Once they have been vaccinated, there is nothing special about them, they are harmless.

Re: The Covid panic as a feedback loop

I'm convinced that in the UK we are now seeing a powerful & sustained signal feedback loop which is creating homeostatic levels of anxiety & existential dread. This produces alternate "tightening" & "easing" in the restrictions depending on events, real or rhetorical. Why are you seeking out a comp...

Re: The Covid panic as a feedback loop

This could go on for another 5 years. Its' just a theory. And does your theory say advantages this eloborate conjecture gives to the governments of the world or indeed, anybody at all? Surely, if fear is the goal, it was being obrained by terrorism and so on.Climate change is another great drivet o...

ten questions

I thought I'd try to measure the opinions of our lockdown sceptics community. Please answer the following questions honestly. a) do you think lockdowns do more harm than good? b) do you think that Bill Gates, George Soros or Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum are exploiting the Pandemic to inc...
