The government response / the cost of the lockdown / public support for the lockdown / previous responses to pandemics / the assault on liberty / etc.

Librarians against Vaccine Passports

Post by fon »

Having found a miraculous Deus ex Machina in the form of vaccination to (by and large) fend off the CoronaVirus, the government is now worried about Vaccine refusniks, those who refuse the vaccine. The government now seeks a system (a second Deus ex Machina) to deploy vaccine passports to prevent Vaccine Refusniks from mingling.

But it's causing a shitstorm in Parliament and in the media. There is even pushback from, for example the BBC, the Telegraph and the Mail, all lining up to report on a huge Backlash/rebellion that is brewing in Parliament, and bringing together Tories, Commies, rustlers, cut throats, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, Mexican bandits, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, Welsh Nationalists, liberals libertarians and even the librarians. And in Parliament, many diverse figures are joining the backlash such as Shami Chakrabarti, Keir Starmer, Diane Abbot, Jeremy Corbyn, Ian Duncan Smith Ed Davey. The BBC says many of Mr Corbyn's former shadow cabinet are joining the lockdown-sceptics, the Covid Research Group of Conservative MPs in a campaign to stop the passport. Politics makes strange bedfellows.

So, good luck to the rebels, I know the rebellion will get much support here. I'm very sorry to admit but I think Vaccine Certification was absolutely inevitable, right from the invention of the first vaccine. Anyway, here are the links.
